Escalation of the Conflict: Attacks in Tel Aviv

Israel began a ground operation through its northern border into Lebanon in early October. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the number of fatalities in Lebanon due to Israeli airstrikes since the onset of the conflict in October of last year has reached 3,287, with 14,222 people wounded.

The group Hizbullah announced that it launched an attack against the Israeli Ministry of Defense headquarters for the first time since the start of the conflict. In a statement, Hizbullah reported that it carried out an air attack using suicide drones against the Kirya base located in Tel Aviv, where the mentioned Ministry is situated.

The attack was carried out in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and in defense of Lebanon and its population, the group declared. So far, the Israeli army has not issued comments on this attack.

Since September 23, the Israeli army has increased its airstrikes against Lebanon as part of the escalation of the conflict with Hizbullah.
